Post-Workshops
Prof. Amit Goswami, is professor emeritus in the physics department of the University of Oregon. He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called science within consciousness. In his book "The Self-Aware Universe", he solved the quantum measurement problem paving the path to a new paradigm of science based on the primacy of consciousness. In his most recent book The Quantum Doctor he integrates conventional and alternative medicine.
Dr. Uma Krishnamurthy, is married to Prof. Amit Goswami. She is a psychiatrist by training with twelve years of experience in the field before she surrendered her practice.
Born into a family of Theosophists dedicated to lecturing and teaching on spiritual topics. Uma Krishnamurthy grew up in an atmosphere deeply imbued with spirituality and concern for universal human well-being. From her early teens, she assisted her father in running spiritual retreats. She qualified as one of the early child psychiatrists in India, and spent the first year of her career working with children, parents and teachers in Bangalore. In parallel
with this she continued to assist her father on his retreats and began, herself, to lectures on spiritual topics. She also is trained (to a high level of proficiency) in classical Indian dance (Bharatya Vidya). She is a pioneer in the field of Yoga-psychology. The transformation of emotions is currently her main area of research

Post-conference workshop 6 hoursConsciousness, Evolution and Transformation
Quantum physics has given us a new science within the primacy of consciousness. An important aspect of this new science is a new theory of creative evolution that explains the famous fossil gaps between fossil lineages as quantum leaps.
In this workshop, physicist Amit Goswami will present the new theory of evolution along with a discussion of our evolutionary future in which the new science converges with the philosophis of Teillard de Chardin and Sri Aurobindo.
A most stubborn obstacle against the evolutionary movement of consciousness is that we have not so far in our history integrated thinking and feeling. The Yoga psychologist Uma Krishnamurthy will discuss and experientially teach techniques of transformation of emotions.
In particular, she will introduce you to Sri Aurobindo?s four great positive emotions and discuss ways to arrive at them.
